Historic Roswell Dining
One of the great things about the Historic Roswell Criterium is the number of restaurant options along the course. Over the years, we've been surrounded by some fantastic restaurants, ranging from down home, classic southern cooking to lip smacking barbeque. Each year brings new restaurants as well, including some that have fantastic views of the race course like Diesel Pizza & Pub. Below are the bars & restaurants we like and they are big fans of the bike race so please support them.

| A | Ceviche | For authentic Mexican food, including Taco's, Burritos and Roswell's best Margarita, we suggest you head down to Ceviche. Located on Canton St., just south of Turn 1 in the Expo Area. Ceviche has indoor and outdoor dining and a totally casual atmosphere. | Website |
| B | The Clay Cafe | The Clay Cafe is located right on Turn 1 and has a great outdoor porch with some of the best views of the course. Enjoy an espresso along with one of their phenomenal desserts. Come on! You just raced away a couple of thousand calories, you deserve a huge slice of The Clay Cafe's homemade cake. | Website |
| C | Diesel Pizza & Pub | Diesel Pizza & Pub is located on Turn 2 with outdoor dining and awesome views of the race. Watch as riders hit the apex of Turn 2 and transition to Turn 3 at 30mph! Make sure to order one of Diesels killer pizza's, like their High Octane veggie lovers pizza with sliced tomatoes, spinach, bell peppers, roasted red peppers, red onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts and kalamata olives. Yummmmm! And if pizza is not your game, they have salads, paninnis, subs and antipasto. Plus, Diesel has a full bar, so you can enjoy your post-race beer while watching the next race. | Website |
| D | The Fickle Pickle | The Fickle Pickle is a Historic Roswell Criterium favorite. Located at Start/Finish, they have outdoor dining and you have to check out their Famous Fried Cajun Pickles (race announcer Dave Towle is a huge fan!), Try one of their incredible sandwiches and salads like the Roasted Vegetable sandwich with portobello mushroom, zucchini, red peppers & basil pesto on a sourdough bun. | Website |
| E | Fratelli di Napoli | Fratelli di Napoli is located just south of the Expo area on Canton St. They feature authentic southern italian cuisine in a homestyle fashion. Their orders come on large platters that easily feed 2-3 people. From Chicken Piccata to Lasagna they are the place to carbo load. | Menu |
| F | Indigo | Indigo is a new restaurant located right on the course, adjacent to turn 5 and Race Registration. They feature outdoor dining and a progressive menu with items like Pecan Crusted Grouper, Palm Seared Ahi Tuna and Caper & Lemon Grilled Chicken. So...... if you dragged your wife/girlfriend down to Roswell to watch you ride in circles, and then had her carry your wheels from the wheel pit back to the car maybe you can earn some points by taking her to Indigo for a nice dining treat. | Website |
| G | Nine | Located in the Expo area at 946 Canton St., Nine has a beautiful outdoor dining area and some of the best food in Roswell. Start with a spinach apple salad and then dig into their Vegetarian Pasta or Wild Pacific Salmon. And don't forget the Apple Crumb Pie (served warm)!!! Nine also has a full wine list and bar, so you can enjoy a rich red glass of Cabernet or the icy cool taste of a Sweetwater 420. | Website |
| H | Pastis | A favorite of the Historic Roswell Criterium race planning crew. Pastis is located on Canton St. just south of Turn 1 in the Expo area. Pastis features a menu that is French inspired, so if you want get a taste of what it would be like to dine in a little village like Bourg d'Oisans after watching the TdF climb Alpe d'Huez, then this is your place. Order the Farmhouse plate with a selection of Pate, Cured Meats, Sausage, Brie and Marinated Olives and a glass of Bordeaux. Bon Apetit! | Website |
| I | Swallow At The Hollow | Hmmmmm, where do we start. With the Brunswick Stew, Fried Green Tomatoes, or do we just skip it all and dig into the Ribs. Swallow is located on Green St., which is the back side of the race course. You can get there by walking behind The Fickle Pickle, through their parking lot and into the back parking lot of Swallow at the Hollow. If you like live music, Swallow at the Hollow regularily features nationally known Bluegrass acts. | Website |
| J | Taste Restaurant and Wine Shop | Located halfway between Start/Finish and Turn 5 is one of Roswell's newest restaurants. Taste is owned by the talented people who own long time Roswell favorite, Pastis. Taste will be serving out front for the bike race and also selling non-alcoholic beverages. | Website |
